This sign means soooo much to soooo many. But why? What is it about Hollywood that drives thousands and thousands of young, naive people here every year? FAME. And FORTUNE. I'd bet my left AND right testicle that if being a third grade teacher or a bag boy at Ralph's paid the EXACT SAME as a film and tv star, folks would wanna be teaching and bagging! So, whenever I hear people tell me they want to be actors because they love the craft, I say, BULLSH*T! You wanna be FAMOUS! And you wanna be RICH! And you wanna feel APPRECIATED/LOVED! Period. Truth is: Hollywood doles out NONE of the above to virtually 99.9% of the folks flocking here to receive it. Truly.
