Whenever You're In My Presence...

Not Gon' Let 'Em Drive Me Crazy!

Spent last Friday night working with, Chef Tom Symon, in the showroom of, O'Gara Coach Beverly Hills.  This place is the go-to place for those interested in purchasing a Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti or Aston Martin!  The cars looked amazing and some of the folks checkin' 'em out looked even more amazing!  Well, the chicks did anyway!  I watched 'em eat Tom's delicious food and talk amongst themselves about the Rolls or Bentley they owned or the one they were buying!  Sure must be nice!!!

To Give Is Divine

If/when people wonder/ask why I've always volunteered my time to work with children, the only answer I can give is the truest answer:  because it makes me feel good about being me.  The fact that I might benefit a kid's life in the process is just icing on the cake.

Uncle Sam...DAMN!

It's tax season, so The Tax Man cometh!  And the IRS payment GOETH!  Whatever, dude!  And you'd better stop pointin' at me, sucka!!!!!  Didn't your mother tell you that isn't polite??????

What In The World?????????

This past weekend I heard a story about a lawyer who just died and left $500K in his house.  CASH!!!  Well, today, I heard about a Columbian drug dealer who was arrested and had cash in his place, too.  What in the world is goin' on with these folks havin' that much cash in their residences?  And WHY in the world wasn't I the FIRST person to find it???????????  And, oh, the drug dealer had $207 MILLION in cash!!!  Goodness gracious!!!!

It's The Little Things...

When I was a kid, Mama used to say that when I became an adult I'd learn not to waste toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.  And, boy, oh boy was she right.  I mean, by the time I walk out of Target with paper towels, toiletries, kitchen & bathroom cleansers, dishwashing liquid, etc., I've spent a pretty penny.  Like the old folks used to say, "Little things add up!"

You Never Know Life

Last year about this same time I watched a "reality" show called, TRUE BEAUTY, 'cause the contestants were beautiful.  Duh!  Sometime late last year I actually met one of the contestants at a bar at which he is a bartender.  Saw him again there last night and we really talked this time.  Turns out he's from Indiana, too.  Anyway, we exchanged digits and perhaps we'll become friends and be able to help each other realize one or some of our professional goals.  One never knows.  That's what I love about life.  You just never know what's gonna happen!
