The Big "V"

Far too often you hear people talk about whether or not they "know" somebody.  A guy sends a Facebook friend request to someone who says, "I don't know him."  A girl solicits votes for Student President and some kids say, "But I don't know her."  Truth is, we all know EVERYBODY!  We may not know them by name or neighborhood or even face, but we all know EVERYBODY!  And the reason I can say this so confidently is because EVERY, SINGLE, HUMAN BEING on this planet simply wants to be VALUED!  APPRECIATED!  WANTED!  Beyond those three actions, there's NOTHIN' much else to know!!!

...is divine

No one says it'll be easy, but it's necessary.  For my well-being.  I will forgive him.  And I do wish him the best.  I now simply choose to wish the best from afar.

How Will I Know?

Word has come forth that Whitney Houston's family wants her to head back to rehab for the umpteenth time.  Her recent concert dates in Seoul, Korea and Australia were disappointing at best.  Her voice is no longer.  Her health is clearly in peril, too.  As I read and hear more about her touch & go health, my only wonder is how will I know when she is no longer?  I suspect the internet, 'cause that's where I find out about everything.  God bless her.  She was a tremendous talent at one point.  But, just like everything else in life, one day the candle light burns out.

Helping Hands

I feel GOOOOOOD today!  I'm gonna go out, walk up to a stranger and shake his/her hand.  Or...maybe just HOLD it!!!!  Haaaaaa!

The Situation

Here's the situation:  my AT&T DSL is effin' up!  PERIOD!  A technician is due here today anytime between 8 AM and 8 PM!  WTF!!!  Whatever!  This lil' ol DSL does NOT have the POWER to make or break my day!  I do!  So, Mr. Repairman, when you get here, I'll be here.  And I'll be HAPPY.  You, my friend, aren't the source of my JOY and YOU, my friend, can't take it AWAY!
