And Then What?

When this Prop 8, gay marriage measure is finally passed --and all the gay men and women who want to be married to each other can GET married--THEN WHAT?  I sure wish gay people's fight instead was the fight for gay brothers & sisters to be MORE LOVING and MUCH KINDER to each other.  That seems soooooooo much MORE important to me than filing joint, tax returns or being allowed into a partner's hospital room.  Maybe that's just me, though.
