A young lady I know is madly in love with a fella I know. And when I say, "madly," I mean mad as in the white jacket, foam rubber room variety. He has shown AND told her NUMEROUS times that he does NOT feel for her the way she feels for him. Because she possesses the ability to hear, I'm sure she's heard everything he's said. BUT...she hasn't LISTENED to a word of it. I don't want her to hurt any longer. However, she apparently doesn't feel the same. I wish her the best...BUT...I can't listen to anymore of her bellyaching. Her heart is in dire need of refurbishing. And her self-esteem is in dire need of a tower crane to lift it.
