Last night I stayed up till after midnight, watching
TV One's Unsung documentary series. The featured acts were
SHALAMAR and
HEATWAVE. I didn't know a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that went down with both groups. All I knew was that I sure liked a lot of their songs. What I learned, though, is that if you're an aspiring singer, it appears best to perform as a SOLO act!!! Groups just provide waaaay too much drama!!!
