Jesse Williams, Preach!

This past Sunday was the BET Awards.  I don't have cable, so I knew I wouldn't be watching the telecast, but thanks to YouTube, I knew I'd be able to watch the musical performances.

Well, it turns out that one of the BEST "performances" of the evening wasn't musical at all.  

Actor/activist Jesse Williams took to the stage to receive The Humanitarian Award and proceeded to give an acceptance speech that BROUGHT the HOUSE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless him for displaying the courage to speak some uncomfortable truths.

But I've gotta admit, I'd love to speak to his Caucasian mom to find out what she truly makes of his beliefs.
