Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's House

Call me an old softie if you will, but I truly enjoy watching ABC's America Extreme Home Makeover.  The families who "win" these homes usually endure some pretty dire circumstances.  I love the way volunteers help build the new home for them.  And, in all honesty, after the houses are built and furnished, I oftentimes wish I was living in the house.  My mama used to always say, "Poor people have poor ways."  Meaning:  Just because you give under-privileged folks pretty stuff, doesn't mean their poor decisions and the BANK will let them keep it!  Harper family, I wish you the best!
