Some say, "With age comes wisdom." Well, I've been around long enough to know that that isn't always true. However, I have learned as I've grown older that the superstar, teen athletes I used to envy in my youth are as fragile -- or moreso -- than the "theater geeks" with whom I felt most comfortable during high school. The recent arrests of three, phenomenally-talented, freshmen, University Of Tennessee football recruits make it abundantly clear to me that we "drama nerds" may not have been wildly popular and lusted after by most of the student body, but neither were we as dumb as a box of cleats either!
