I haven't had
health insurance since 1997. All my yearly physicals and cholesterol-lowering meds come from the Saban Free Clinic (formerly Los Angeles Free Clinic). For a nominal donation (or gratis, if need be), my health is monitored. And I feel good about the service I receive. I'm aware that many say that those of us without health insurance should simply "get a real job." Oh, how I wish those same people would say
and believe that people...should simply look out for people.
