Considering all that I've experienced firsthand in this crazy business called, Show, I can confidently bet an arm, leg, ear, eye
and kidney that the first, two, young actors don't get nearly the auditions or random, on-the-street offerings of representation from "managers" as the third, young actor. And, no, I don't wonder why. And I'm sure
you don't, either. Sing it,
Bruce Hornsby:
"Well they passed a law in '64
To give those who ain't got a little more,
But it only goes so far.
Because the law don't change another's mind
When all it sees at the hiring time
Is the line on the
color bar.
That's just the way it is.
Some things will never change.
That's just the way it is.
But don't you believe them."
