As I've mentioned before, I currently volunteer with 8 & 9-yr-olds. Lately, I've been wanting to marry my love for writing to my volunteerism. So, the idea I've come up with is to go into a juvenile facility and introduce the guys to journal writing. If writing down my thoughts has been therapeutic for me, surely it could be the same for some of them. I'm gonna really look into this. I can already see a life change in the offing. For them...and...for me.
