"To think freely forces one to walk a line of false reality and reasonable insanity. It’s a balancing act even the most adept tightrope walker would hazard to tread. To reach a point of disbelieving everything you’ve ever known, and have ever been taught, and redefining what your own individual truth is, can be the loneliest and most frightening thing one could ever experience. In a period of time when “all eyes on me” is a daily mantra, less time is spent focusing inward without worrying about if anyone is watching or listening or even caring. Followers following followers for the sake of blindly following to see who has the most followers is perhaps the most utterly nonsensical thing that has happened to the human condition. Yet here we are… false leaders, false prophets, false reporters, false debaters and false body parts fill the social landscape… and We the People… Follow and click and like and share and block and delete and post pictures with words instead of writing our own, because that’s what most will respond to, and because it takes the least amount of thought. All this is done almost instinctively now, without much cause or provocation, and the days, months and years pass, much like we do to each other in person, heads down in a screen heading nowhere fast. We are in fact visual creatures, who have been taken advantage of and have forgotten how to look upward and outward and now only look down and through a narrow lens. All the while narrowing our focus into a collective algorithmic data pool of decreasing attention spans and ineptitude."
I couldn't have expressed this GOSPEL TRUTH any better.
Thank you, Mr. SHAUN AMIN NETTER.
Thank you, very much!
