DEONTE'S WORDS

One of my dearest friends sent me a video via e-mail the other day that has my head spinnin'.  I mean, I simply want EVERY Tom, Dick & Harry to see it.  And hear it.  And feel it.  It's the high school graduation speech of a young brotha named, DEONTE BRIDGES.  All I can say about it is that the young man makes me feel HOPEFUL that at least ONE, BLACK, YOUNG MAN seems to have his head on straight.  I wish him the very best life has to offer!  Heck, I wish that for everybody.  But, this young fella inspires even me to BE BETTER.  To WORK HARDER.  And to keep my head up despite ALL obstacles!  Thank you, DEONTE.  Thank you, very much!  I just know your DAD and MOTHER are sooooo PROUD!  I know I AM!
